The Stringtown Road Bridge over Prickett Creek was built in 1961. The wooden cross-braces are
decaying and must be replaced. We are replacing the bridge with a concrete culvert, which will improve fish passage.
This project will require a road closure. By using a prebuilt culvert, we are able to reopen the road more quickly than building a bridge in place.
This bridge is part of an on-going improvements throughout the County.
